ME 481- Heat Transfer

Theory of heat transfer by steady and transient conduction. Heat transfer by radiation. Convection of heat by fluid motion in external and internal flow. Combined heat transfer calculations.
Prerequisites: ME 312, ME 351, Math 421.

Goals:
This course is designed to give seniors in mechanical engineering the
background to model and analyze heat transfer processes arising in a variety
of thermal components and systems.
